Fortnite Leak Reveals More Upcoming Kpop Demon Hunters Cosmetics
A popular Fortnite leaker has revealed that Epic Games may be adding more cosmetics based on the hit Netflix movie Kpop Demon Hunters at some point in the near future, which could include an emote for the highly requested song “Golden.” Fortnite is currently in the middle of Chapter 6 Season 5 and will soon be launching its annual Fortnitemares event.
Epic Games recently released a major collaboration between Fortnite and Kpop Demon Hunters, giving players the opportunity to purchase skins of the characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. The crossover also included a wide variety of accessories, such as unique back blings and stylish pickaxes. In addition to cosmetics, players can participate in the new Demon Rush mode, which puts a Kpop Demon Hunters twist on the title’s classic Horde Rush mode. Special items have even made their way into Fortnite‘s battle royale modes, like a shield bubble that plays “Golden” while players are inside of it.
"Golden" and "How It’s Done" May Be Coming to Fortnite
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker ShiinaBR revealed that even more Kpop Demon Hunters cosmetics could be coming to the popular battle royale. While some fans have been clamoring to get their hands on additional costumes for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, it seems as if this next wave of cosmetics could be focused on music. According to ShiinaBR, players will soon be able to purchase emotes for the songs “Golden” and “How It’s Done.” The collaboration may also include a microphone for Rumi and a free loading screen that can be earned as a part of upcoming quest rewards.
While many fans in the comments seemed to be excited about the addition of more cosmetics, some people claimed that the collaboration is missing a key component: Jam Tracks. Fortnite‘s Jam Tracks have become a big part of the game. While they are primarily used in the Fortnite Festival mode, Jam Tracks can also be slotted into the “Moments” section of one’s locker. When players utilize this feature, they can choose a song that will play as they drop from the battle bus or when they win a match. Since the soundtrack of Kpop Demon Hunters has proven to be a big hit in its own right, it makes sense that players would like to see its biggest songs come to the battle royale.
In addition to Kpop Demon Hunters, it seems as if Epic Games could be releasing a major collaboration between Fortnite and Tron: Ares. While the crossover hasn’t been officially announced, leakers have claimed that the rumored cosmetics will arrive in the Item Shop on October 7. With so much content to enjoy and even more crossovers just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
